This pirate-themed park is a fantastic family destination. It boasts a range of amenities, including a lake with a 2.5km path, clean toilets, a playground, a basketball court, and a large climbing frame. There's also a kids' bike path, swings, and more. The park is a popular spot for picnics and even hosts park runs on Saturdays. It's usually bustling on weekends but offers tranquility during the week. Across from the park, the Wilga Hotel's bistro offers takeaways, making it a complete family outing.

You should first check with Narrabri council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
